Hello! My name is Birame, and I’m a passionate, independent tour guide with over 6 years of experience sharing the beauty and cultural richness of Senegal with travelers from around the world
I hold a degree in African and Postcolonial Studies from the University of Dakar, where I spent six years deepening my understanding of West African history, society, and identity. In 2018–2019, I completed formal tourism training with Trans-Africa, which led to my official certification after passing Senegal’s national Tourism Regulation Exam.
Since then, I’ve been offering personalized, authentic tours that go far beyond the typical tourist path. I’ve also had the opportunity to collaborate with reputable travel companies such as Trans-Africa, Origine Africa, and Europlaya MTC, gaining valuable experience in creating safe, meaningful, and well-organized travel experiences.
I speak English, French, and Spanish, and my priority is always to make you feel comfortable, informed, and truly connected to the people and traditions of Senegal.
